It's More Than Just a Medal

The Congressional Award is one of only 2 awards given by the U.S.  Congress, and the only award given to civilians.

ARE YOU READY?

This is one of only 2 awards earned during the high school years that stays on your teen's resume for life!

The other is earning the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Award. However, there are more than 50,000 Eagle Scout awards every year, and less than 1000 Congressional Award Gold Medals awarded each year.

What is it? and What does it take to "Get the Gold"?:

  • It is for young people ages 13-1/2 to age 23 and participants earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold Congressional Award Certificates and Bronze, Silver, and Gold Congressional Award Medals.
  • Participants log hours in 4 different program areas: Voluntary Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness, and Expedition/Exploration.

I encourage all of my Cracking the Code to Free College families to consider adding this very prestigious program to their resumes.

My teens attended college on 17 scholarships totaling $199,000 for 4 years of college debt-free with cash left over. Cracking the Code to Free College is the strategy that did it!

The Congressional Award is just ONE part of your teen's "story" for college admissions and scholarships…

  • The earlier you start the more opportunities your teen will have
  • Getting Paid to go to college is doable with the right strategy
  • College debt, and the stress that comes with it, is NOT inevitable

The right moves at the right time make all the difference. And it's all in Cracking the Code to Free College.
